Understanding the Levels
We organize our stories using the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Here’s what the levels mean:
A1 – Beginner
Simple stories with basic vocabulary and short sentences. Perfect if you’re just starting out.
A2 – Elementary
Slightly longer stories, introducing common expressions and everyday situations.
B1 – Intermediate
Richer vocabulary, longer paragraphs, and more complex grammar structures.
B2 – Upper-Intermediate
Realistic, useful topics with idiomatic expressions and practical language.
C1 – Advanced
Longer narratives, often in the form of biographies or personal stories, with rich vocabulary and natural expressions used by natives.

Tips to Study with Stories
Here are some tips to make the most out of your learning experience:
- Read the story twice — once for general understanding, and then slowly, looking up the key vocabulary.
- Listen to the audio version (if available) to improve your pronunciation and listening comprehension.
- Take notes of new expressions or verbs that you find useful.
- Try to retell the story in your own words — out loud or in writing.
- Take the quiz to check how much you understood and reinforce your memory.
